New Server, New Blog
Yay, the blog’s up.
A few days ago I got started on this OpenBSD/Apache server that’s running my site http://possum.kicks-ass.org. If you know my programming class, we’ve had a lot of fun with this site already 
Anyway, I’m not retiring my Google page as it will go to a good cause eventually, though it will no longer be my blog.
The OpenBSD system is a zombie/Frankenstein computer consisting of a 700MHz AMD Duron processor, 3374MB RAM, and about 100GB of space, though the bandwidth is currently limited to approximately 156kbps. Still, it’s a healthy server.
In other news, I owe $80 to the school for Senior Dues (joy) and I’m bored as hell besides my computer stuff. The Linux meeting last night in St. Pete helped to make up for that. I learned a lot of cool tips and tricks for administering my server, et al. Not to say my Gentoo box will be ignored; it will be my primary SSH into my server!
Anyway, I’m gonna go work on that some more. will post soon
