Well, the title is true according to Google’s sponsored links. You may remember in 2005 about an eBay advertiser allegedly trying to sell African slaves. The keywords people use to identify their products are not exactly the best words. Here’s a real shocker:


Quantum Computer - Bargain Prices. You want it, we got it!

If you’ve been following tech news, you’ll know that a Canadian company called D-Wave has allegedly developed the first working quantum computer (more recently faced with skepticism). I saw this ad and I thought to myself, Wow! D-Wave is already targeting consumers through BizRate!

So, bargain prices for a computer that doesn’t even exist yet? Sorry, more buzzword marketing!

    Seriously though, huh? That’s just stupid.

    Oh and I bought an African Slave on eBay. However, I set him free because he was eaten all my fried chicken…. :D
