Hoppy Easter

> April 9th, 2007 ---

Just wanted to wish everyone a belated Happy Zombie Jesus Day!  Zombie Jesus Day is also the anniversary of my music server Canti, which I refer to as my Frankenstein or Zombie computer, since it was rebuilt from spare parts on Easter last year.  Also, no replies about the last post, but I have done a proof of concept in CGI/Perl (source).

XFN Anyone?

> April 5th, 2007 ---

Social networking has been around for awhile. Now Firefox is getting onboard with Coop (TechCrunch article), which gives the browser similar functions as Flock. Essentially these tools integrate social networking such as MySpace, del.icio.us, Flickr, and YouTube directly into the browser, making it easier, in theory, to communicate with friends online. A form of social networking is also inherently available in XHTML, as XFN (Wikipedia).

KRiTiKaL ReSiStanCe Concert

> April 1st, 2007 ---

Last night was the KRiTiKaL ReSiStanCe concert at Boomerz Boiler Room. It was pretty good; I’d venture to say they had the best turnout I’d ever seen. I’m pretty sure they gave out all of their 200 promotional CD’s.

Avoid I-275 And 5th Ave. in St. Pete This Weekend

> March 29th, 2007 ---

I just drove on 5th Ave. towards downtown. About a half mile away from the I-275 junction, I began to smell heavy smoke. Apparently, a tanker exploded, killing the driver, injuring a cop, and leaking dangerous fluids into the sewage system. I-275, I-375, and 5th Ave. are affected. Just a tip — don’t drive those roads this weekend.

Bit o’ Dancin’, Bit o’ Music

> March 28th, 2007 ---

I went Swing Dancing tonight at Savoy South for the first time in over a year. Mary came with; it was her first time ever. That was fun, I met a lot of people. The main reason I went because it was my friend Lauren’s (what no link? I thought there was a link…) birthday.

Another Late Poem

> March 22nd, 2007 ---

Okay, fine I’ve been slacking.  My parents’ house is being remodelled so I’ve been helping out there quite a bit.  Also, I’ve been putting some time into a project soon to be released.  Anyway, this week’s poem is called Writer’s Block, from a time when I was experimenting with different styles of poetry.

Spam

> March 17th, 2007 ---

I logged into this blog today and saw I had 86 spam comments waiting for me.  Even in the time it took me to mark all of them as spam, another 3 spam comments were posted.  Time to fight back!  I installed a plugin called Did You Pass Math?, which requires commenters to answer a simple math question before commenting.  Sorry if it causes anyone extra trouble :P
